I am sure that you, like me, thought we had heard the last of the OJ Simpson book publishing fiasco. Well, apparently not. OJ has gained the right to the unpublished manuscript of “If I Did It”. The families of Ron Goldman and Nicole Simpson are of course greatly disappointed in their fight to stop this from happening.
Ironically, the book proceeds are going to the Ron Goldman Foundation for Justice.
It escapes my mind as to why OJ would not let this heinous crime lay to rest. Why is it that our society leans on bad news? Why open old wounds that have begun to heal?
So much for Resting In Peace.

He’s doing it because he can. This will follow him for the rest of his life. Because of the tragic outcome of the trial, it’s always going to attention from society. If OJ said he would write a book about his football career like Jorome Bettis just did…who would want to read it. I bet people forgot he was a Heisman trophy winner in college. As long as society and the news media talk and broadcast negative issues, people like OJ will continue to embrace it.
