Its official: the first hurricane of the season has arrived. Its currently located in the Atlantic and is expected to hit the following islands: Lesser Antilles, Jamaica, and Mexico’s Yucatan Peninsula.

Meteorologists predict that the storm will hit the southern end of Texas sometime on Friday, however, by that time, it is forecasted to have winds of less than 39 miles per hour, which changes it from a hurricane to a tropical storm.

Thankfully the storm will be too far south to cause any damage to Florida.
