Well, its that time again.

More traffic on the roads and less kids at the mall. Students in all nine counties in Central Florida are returning to school today. As I walked around the block this morning with my son in his stroller, we saw parents taking pictures of their children standing in front of the home with their backpacks in tow as they prepared for the first day of school.

I am sure there was much excitement last night as the kiddies were tucked into bed. Even while at Target on Sunday, my mother and I saw last minute parents scrambling for what was left of the school supplies.

Its back to packing lunches, picking up kids from soccer practice and then helping them with homework later in the evening.

As a parent, we all hope that much care will taken when driving in designated school areas during the school hours for the safety of everyone.
